Black Sheeped

Important notes: Jut came home yesterday, which means the dogs are crazy and happy again and the cats have a reason to live. Our roof is finished–dark green. Busy today and tomorrow at work, and then my mom and sister will be here tomorrow night/Friday. I looked it up, and Saturday I stepped on a prairie kingsnake, not a copperhead. I feel pretty bad about stepping on him, and also as though my Brush With Poisonous Snake Awesomeness has been stripped from me, leaving me just Mildly Crazy For Sticking Around The Snake To Inspect What Kind Of Spots It Had–And Also To Make Sure I Didn’t Hurt Him With My Clumsy Human Shoes, Which I Didn’t Want To Admit Out Loud To My Sister-In-Law At The Time.

Also, I think I forgot to mention I stepped on a snake, which I haven’t done in a long time. Sunday I enjoyed reading up on Missouri’s snakes, because I haven’t done that in a long time, either.  I had forgotten about the hognose, and green snakes, and got pretty excited.

Also, Jut got a haircut while he was away:
