Wrought

The other night, Cab was (as usual) standing directly between the remote and the television.  His mouth-breathing presence prevented a quick change of channel when it was most crucial, and we were exposed to a particularly horrible commercial.  Jut said to him, “Look at what your big head has wrought!”

I’m hoping to add “Look at what your big head has wrought” to the 150 words he understands.  Obviously.

Completely unrelated, here is a blurry-but-cute photo of my husband and my nephew, taken earlier this summer.  The nephew was a big fan of Jut. (Obviously.)

Before anyone makes fun of me for messing with a remote and ignoring the kid, I was turning on music for him. He likes Benny Goodman.

Cash LOVES to stand in the way of the DVR so I cannot fast-forward, rewind, or change the channel :) And since the DVR is below the TV, on the bottom shelf, asking him to sit doesn’t work. I also am convinced Cash doesn’t understand any words. Anything you say to him, he sits… He understands hand signals a little better. He understands food best. If you have a treat, he lays down immediately.

Cute photo- and btw Jut, the look on your face is NOT ignoring.. you look amused and happy like you’re enjoying your nephew ;) And why not, sounds like he’s got great taste in music at a young age!
